From Stockholm, take the E4 highway southbound. At Södetälje merge onto E 20 towards Gothenburg. After ca 30 km you will reach the
exit to Mariefred. The trip will will take approximately 50 minutes.

From Stockholms Central Station towards Eskilstuna and Hallsberg.
Get off at Läggesta and go by bus to central Mariefred. Get off at bus stop “Slottsträdgårdsgatan”. Continue walking in the same direction ca 50 meters towards the lake. In My Garden is the last building on your right before Strandvägen and Lake Mälaren. The trip will take approximately 45 minutes.

MED BOAT Visit– www.mariefred.info
Take a wonderful boat trip on Lake Mälaren with the over 100 year old steamship “Mariefred”. During the summer months it departs daily (except Mondays) from Stadshuskajen by Stockholm City Hall. The trip takes 3.5 hours.
